Optimised technology
Our servers are secured within our data centres to provide you with better speed and search engine rankings. We built our centres in close collaboration with IBM & DELL to provide you the most optimised technology available that delivers premium performance.
Based on trusted Cisco architecture, our 10GB/s fiber solutions are designed to meet high-density demands on a daily basis. The infrastructure has no single point of failure and has direct access to leading Internet exchanges, such as LINX.
We also operate our own network, with multiple points of presence (PoPs) across the UK to provide bandwidth at a seemingly limitless capacity, even when operating at full capacity.
Strategic Locations
Our data centres are located in Derby, Leeds, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Riga and New York, with staffing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to ensure maximum support and security. With two local locations, we can quickly manage all hardware and software, as well as respond to customer inquiries.
Extensive security
Security is of the utmost importance to us, whether it is physical or virtual. DigitalBerg has security teams on site 24/7 to provide monitoring via internal and external CCTV. Data centre access is restricted to select staff who require security clearance and secure fobs to enter the area; they require access strictly to fulfil their job duties.
We use a multilayer security approach for all data, with several firewalls, regular backups, and offsite storage.
Energy efficient
We are proud to have highly efficient data centres. They are fully climate-controlled to provide effective cooling for servers whilst reducing environmental impact and costs. As well, temperature and humidity monitoring occurs around the clock.
We use N+1 Stultz DX Cybercool air conditioning systems to optimize performance. Drip sensors monitor any leaks in the system, while cold air is forced underneath raised flooring into the bottom of each server rack and vacuumed out of the top to optimise cooling efficiency. Each server rack is purposely positioned to maximise cooling effectiveness.
Advanced disaster prevention
DigitalBerg is prepared for even the most extreme disaster within our data centres. All hardware is fully protected from fire, floods or other natural disasters. Emergency services connect to our fire prevention system and ulilises a VESDA smoke detection system, providing the ultimate support network.
In the unlikely event of a fire, the data centre is sealed and the FM200 Fire Suppression System fills the centre with gas to quickly extinguish the fire without any damage to the equipment contained inside.
Uninterruptible power
High-quality power protection is present, to provide uninterrupted power. Each server rack has two independent power feeds, which are fed from two diverse connections to the national grid. Should one or both feeds fail, 4 x 300kVA Riello UPS (N+1) battery backup systems provide immediate power requirements.
If mains power does not restore within 10 seconds, 3 x N+1 diesel powered generators kick in with full, constant power to the data centre.
