W3 Total Cache WordPress Plugin

Install W3 Total Cache

To install W3TC:

1. Go to your WordPress Dashboard.
2. Go to Plugins > Add New.
3. Search for W3 Total Cache.
4. Click Install Now.
5. Click Activate Plugin.
6. Upon activation of the plugin, a new menu option will be added in the WordPress admin panel called Performance.
7. Click on the Performance tab to enter the configuration information.

Recommended Settings

• Page Cache: Enable
• Page Cache Method: Disk (Enhanced)
• Database Cache: Disabled
• Object Cache: Disabled

Other options for optimizing WordPress include WP Super Cache which is an alternative to W3 Total Cache.

Uninstall W3 Total Cache

To uninstall W3TC:

1. Go to your WordPress admin panel.
2. Go to Plugins.
3. Select Installed Plugins.
4. Locate W3 Total Cache.
5. Click Deactivate.
6. Click Delete.
7. At the confirmation for deleting the plugin, click Yes, Delete these files.
